My name is Monique Reverie, aka Monique Guthrie, and I am seasoned designer and illustrator deeply invested in both creativity and community. With a decade of experience in graphic design, illustration, and branding, I'm passionate about crafting visually compelling narratives rooted in both principle and practicality. I am passionate about using my artistic talent to create memorable graphic design, artwork and captivating marketing. My favorite style involves incorporating my original illustrations and drawing inspiration from the history of design and art.

I aspire to turn my passion for illustration and art into a profession. Over the past 10 years, I have developed a wide range of skills in various areas including logo design, infographics, typography, traditional art, motion design, and more.

By day, I serve as the Community Coordinator at InTown Fitchburg, where I spearhead downtown revitalization efforts and support small businesses through strategic marketing and event planning. By night, I channel my artistic flair into freelance endeavors, creating memorable designs that blend original illustrations with historical inspiration.

Fueled by my love for Fitchburg and its diverse inhabitants, I'm dedicated to weaving together the fabric of our dynamic Gateway City both professionally and creatively.

Fitchburg State University, in partnership with the Douglas and Isabella Crocker Civic Center, seeks to establish an institute that will strengthen local community capacity and call for Social Justice. Local community capacity is a critical component of a sustainable community development process. Without sufficient levels of community capacity, residents are unable to mobilize around issues, to exercise the political influence required to attract public or private resources, and to forge vital connections beyond neighborhood.
